A Supreme Angel On the Shining Catwalk

Italian lads are believed to be one of the most gorgeous faces in the whole world. They seem to be everywhere, from the confines of the homely school to the divine churches, great silver screen, slick magazines, and shining runway. When I had my early trip to Italy, I couldn't agree more. Anywhere I looked, I painlessly glanced upon an angelic creature sans the halo and big wings.

Bianca Balti is one of those comely non-winged seraphs. A supermodel in her own right, she graced varying fashion shows in her native country and in other luxurious locations. But Bianca had her share of average defeat especially when she faced rejection lots of times for simply being a common face. Yet, that average face later on startled fashion giants, hiring Bianca to do campaign jobs for their product lines.

Year after year, Bianca is proving her significance as an inspiring supermodel. Imagine being photographed by world-renowned photo masters, appearing in modish magazines, campaigning for fashion gods Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and Guess, and showing off trendy creations of Donatella Vercase, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, and Marc Jacobs on the catwalk.

This year, she is thought to be the next Victoria's Secret angel after the retirement of the equally striking Gisele Bundchen --making Bianca soar higher to the skies.
