The Newest and Tighter Anti-Smoking Campaign in Italy

Smoking has become a large part of people's lives for numerous reasons. While some people argue that smoking is an unhealthy living, others strongly say that it is not a plain habit but a culture which people have acquired for long years now. Numerous generations have been smoking, and many cases of lung problems have compelled people's deaths. Yes, smoking can be a piece of the people's daily lives, but it does not necessarily mean that it is a culture which people must passively embrace. Italy is among those that strongly believe in this plain yet seemingly complicated stand.

As a matter of fact, Livia Turco, Italy's dependable health minister, has revealed this year an anti-smoking advocacy for the entire country that is still under the approval of the Italian government. Once this distinguished advocacy is approved, Turco plans to offer many incentives to cooperative companies which help their own employees scrap the habit of smoking, sanction fines and punishments to those employees who smoke in any work area, and reduce tax on all anti-smoking rehabilitations and anti-smoking products. This is such a great project for the Italian government to help the non-smokers, including the children, and to further enhance the Italian healthy lifestyle.

Traveling the Extraordinary Italy Through Cycling and Motorbiking

One of the most significant things that I learned from traveling different countries is to explore every possible destinations in the venue. There are tourist venues that offer various transportation services so that trippers can get around places. In Italy, the most notable way of traveling is through riding a train. However, I discovered a more interesting and pleasurable means of strolling around the said country -- cycling and motorbiking.

Although cycling is considered more of a sport, Italians, as well as the trippers, use bicycles to tour the attractive venues in the land. Youngsters and even adults are often seen riding touring cycles and mountain bikes, especially in small downtowns and towns. Hostels and roadhouses can take the bikes for safekeeping if ever a tripper decides to rent or buy a bike. Trippers can contact UK's Cyclists' Touring Club to ask for services and advices on planning a tour.

Trippers can also go around and visit entertaining locations in Italy through motorbiking. There are a few locations where people can rent motorbikes, but trippers can opt to ride scooters and mopeds instead. Toddlers and even grannies are spotted on these two-wheel rides for they are recommended in roaming around islands and downtowns. A cautionary however from the management and a traveler like me, don't forget to wear your helmet when motorbiking and cycling.

The Pure Passion Behind Italian Meals

Although Italian lads never ceased to surprise the world how they lure more females by their side, nothing beats the flavorful Italian cuisine as still the best sight to behold in this corner of the European region. For those who have never gone to Italy, their hint of Italian courses may only be limited to pizza, parmesan cheese, and pepperoni. But aside from colorful toppings and tasty herbs Italy is most celebrated for Italian food offers more than just a plate of pasta and its thick, red sauce. You have got to try tasty meat meals in Rome or even exceptional spices and herbs in Tuscany. Each area has its own outstanding dish to explore, which only goes to say that authentic Italian cuisine is diverse in its kind.

Pizzas on delivery and easy-to-cook Italian meals contradict the original passion for Italian cooking. While the world has soon embraced the idea of fast foods and quick meals, still, there's no popular standard for preparing Italian food, while Italian meals can only flourish with the best and freshest of all available ingredients. Passion, elegance, and taste -- these define the original influence behind a tasty feast only in Italy.

In fact, what people often notice on their TVs is far from the actual reality, when spoons are never used to eat spaghetti and other pasta. What's more, elbows should never touch the table, while the first to receive the serving of a tasty meal are important women of the family -- who else but the genuine heart of Italian cooking -- the matriarchs of their inspiration -- their mothers!

Italy: Motherland of Outstanding Fashion Designers

When we hear the keyword Italy -- the Pope, the Leaning Tower, and gondola would probably pop up in our minds. But the word Italy would never be of ample classification if we do not think of the word "fashion." Most of the world's ultimate fashion artists are from Italy: Gianni Versace, Valentino Garavani, Prada, Stefano Gabbana, Domenico Dolce, Gorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, and a lot more. Most are even known internationally for their excellent and classy products. Nevertheless, if there is one Italian name known for its strange, yet trendy designs, it would be Braccialini.

Carla Braccialini, creator of Braccialini, has been creating one-of-a-kind, perhaps some would say out-of-this-world bags and accompaniments, together with her team of artists including her son. Their creations of very meticulous in depth and cool designs have certainly created a fuss whether Braccialini is in or not in the circle of fashion. Putting the reactions aside, if you are into exclusive accessories and handbags you can try Braccialini's. Among the brand's eccentric innovations are the vibrant face clown bag, tortoise bag, bus purse, and an alarm clock bag among others. If you live by the belief that "fashion is an expression, and not an institution, check out Braccialini, and you will find even more designs that would definitely suit whatever your unique taste thirst for.

A Fast Tour of Italy With the Help of the Bauer Grunwald Hotel

An absolutely perfect way to explore the historic country of Italy is by reserving a room at the Bauer Grunwald Hotel in Venice. Registering for a room in this strategically located Italian hotel will give visitors a quick mini tour of Venice since getting here can be done via several fashions. One is by land where sightseers can drive straight from Marco Polo Airport down to Piazzale Roma, and from there, private water taxis will be waiting to bring them to Bauer Grunwald. Aside from that, tourists can also drive to Piazzale Roma and from there, ride aboard public boat #1, which will take them to San Marco Vallaresso, from where a brief ambulation will bring them to Bauer Grunwald. Either way, driving from the airport up to the major entrance of the hotel will approximately take about 35 minutes.

On water, arriving at Bauer Grunwald can be made by riding on a private boat with sailing time of about 40 minutes, the concluding stop of which will take place at the very entrance of the hotel.

Of course, the spectacles that one will get to see while driving towards the Bauer is not the only attraction that this hotel can offer. Its different rooms are equally splendid and features a variety of first-class amenities that will make your Italian stay simply wonderful. If one is prompt enough, taking advantage of latest hotel promotions can also be availed of which often come in the form of room discounts. This will particularly benefit tourists who have tight budgets but would still want to have a comfortable room in an invaluable Italian hotel.
